Technological breakthroughs and application expansion of polyester printed fabrics and polyester batik printed fabrics

2025-03-28

In recent years, with the innovation of textile technology and the increase in environmental protection needs, polyester printed fabrics and Polyester Batik printed fabrics have become hot spots in the textile industry with their unique performance and artistic expression. From production processes to application scenarios, these two types of fabrics are opening a new chapter through technological innovation and design breakthroughs.

Production process innovation

Polyester printed fabrics:

Due to the strong hydrophobicity of polyester fibers, traditional dyeing processes are limited, and disperse dyes and digital printing technologies have become the key. The digital direct injection process directly penetrates the fiber through high-temperature dispersed ink, solving the problem of "whitening" that is prone to traditional thermal transfer, while improving sunlight fastness and migration resistance. In addition, environmentally friendly dyeing technology reduces energy consumption through low-temperature and short-time processes, combined with pretreatment and color fixing processes to ensure bright and stable colors.

Polyester imitation batik printed fabrics:

The imitation batik process enhances fiber adhesion through anti-pilling fiber mixing (such as modified nylon and polyester fiber in a ratio of 7:3) and ultrasonic surface modification technology. After the anti-pilling finishing agent is dipped and rolled, it is combined with drying and fixing treatment to form a protective film to reduce friction pilling, while retaining the "ice pattern" artistic effect of traditional batik.

Multiple application fields

Clothing field: Polyester printed fabrics are widely used in sportswear, outdoor clothing and fast fashion items due to their lightness and washability; imitation batik fabrics have become environmentally friendly fabrics favored by designers with their ethnic patterns.

Home textiles and decoration: Both types of fabrics are used for curtains, bedding and home furnishings. Digital printing technology gives them high-precision patterns to meet personalized needs.

Industry and environmental protection: The promotion of recycled polyester technology promotes the recycling of waste textiles and helps the development of sustainable fashion.
